Evaluation of a construction management software: "Progresi"

The number of project management software developed is increasing which encourages better practices. Reluctance to use may be due a lack understanding applications, considering complex and impractical, or because it perceived as expensive. This paper aims evaluate "Progresi" created by local developer, specifically aimed at managing construction projects in Indonesia. A simulation carried out based on real data, find the features its potential for management. research results show that “Progresi” produces Gantt charts, S-curves, budget tables, resource tables. Its unique feature accommodates concept unit price analysis cost budgeting, provides menu safety management, generates daily reports, can used store photos documents neatly easily accessible are useful audit purposes. Suggestions given improving this need provide formal manual, supplement with network planning, improve appearance charts tables make look more professional.
